Before you ask, yes I am Sailor Moon deprived again. Can't seem to find the time to watch it.
Anyway, this is going to be an updates and tag journal.
Updates first:
First off, I'm not dead! Just been very busy. It's the end of my senior year and the teachers decided to throw these things on us called "senior assessments" when they already did some projects on us when we got back from Spring Break! My brother didn't have to do them when he was here four years ago, so this is pretty much new, and is probably the dumbest move that was ever made!
Not everything is bad though: what was also added in that my brother didn't have was Senior Ditch Day. I had that on Wednesday. It was totally awesome! The seniors got to take the day off to do what we wanted like go someplace fun or just stay at home and relax or get caught up on your work. (But why do that on a day of fun?!) Anyway, with me, I went with some of my girl friends to Six Flags Great America. If you don't know what that is, it's an amusement park that is located in (or at least near) Chicago. For those of you here in America, have you heard of the new roller coaster called the X-Flight which was mentioned Friday morning on Good Morning America? That is the new roller coaster in Six Flags and Wednesday was the actual opening day. However, while my friends did go on it, I didn't because I was still feeling full on the breakfast that I had and I didn't want to lose it if you know what I mean. The next one we went on was the Batman. I was unsure of that because I was not fond in upside-down roller coasters, but my friend Dana, who had never been on it before, said that she was sure that it wasn't one of those. It was. In fact, it is probably the most intense roller coaster in the park! I want to say that she tricked me into going on, but if she really hadn't gone on it before, then I don't think she actually did. I went on three others. They were the Whizzer (which is probably the least intense coaster in the park), the Demon (which is a loop-the-loop, but only had two of them), and the Viper (which did not go upside-down, but had very long drops). Afterwards, we got ourselves some dipping-dots. Then three of us, one of those being me, had to leave. (You could say that we had a curfew.) But really, it was a good day. The reason why I wasn't on though was because when I got back, I was so tired that I didn't really feel like coming on.
Thursday was nothing major except Senior Luncheon, which was just alright. I did get kinda annoyed at one point, but that's another story, never mind. Then Friday was spring carnival. We were really celebrating the 40th year of one of our teachers. (Yes, he has worked at the school for 40 years straight!) And for some reason, we used dinosaurs for that, which to me seemed a little insulting because he's not THAT old! Anyway, the games that were played were nothing new. Just the same old, same old. I did get really annoyed at one of them because it was an unfair win, but I'm not going to rant about that. (Got in enough trouble about that yesterday.) But yeah, after that, nothing new. Except that the theatre director and music director announced next years fall play and musical and both of which I really wanna be in, but I can't cause I'll be in college (even if I'm only five minutes away from the school!).
Disappointing, yeah, but hey, results for me would probably be not so hot. (Never has been!)And today, my dad took my mother and me to the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre to see Timon of Athens. If you don't recognize that play, I'm not surprised. It is definitely not one of Shakespeare's most well-known works. My dad also explained the origin. This play was never truly finished. In fact, it was never actually performed during Shakespeare's lifetime! So, someone else had to add in an ending. It was a good show, though not the best. Plus, I think they kinda...modernized it too much if you know what I mean. If you don't, just ask me and I'll tell you.
Also, yes, of course I have noticed the new name-change update for premium members. It is very confusing to me cause a lot of good friends of mine just changed their names. So I actually had to write them down so I would know who is who and it makes my hand cramp up. I do find my screen name to be kinda weird too. I don't know if I will actually change it though. Well, we'll see. That's all I will say about that for now.
